Weddings

 

Whether your leanings are classical or boundary-bending (or a little bit of both!), I’ll make sure that your wedding ceremony is an intimate, unique and authentic representation of your love and shared values.

I’ll be looking after all the legal nuts and bolts for you - so you can focus on all the other wedding plans.

First, I’ll meet with you and your partner to understand the essence of your love story. Then, together, we’ll compose a run sheet and script which encompasses everything you hold dear - such as poetry and prose, music with meaning and profound vows reflecting your relationship.

And, when the big day comes around, I’ll coordinate your ceremony to ensure everything runs seamlessly.

Funerals (Celebrations of life)

 

It feels illogical that, at the height of grief, the bereaved are tasked with the additional burden of funeral preparations. These can be so overwhelming, especially if the death was unforeseen, or family members have differing perspectives about the deceased person’s wishes.

An empathic, experienced Celebrant can help you navigate this challenging time. When I work with families on these ceremonies, I guide them towards a celebration of the person’s life: their character, their quirks and their passions. Using warmth, positivity and a light touch of affectionate humour (where appropriate), your loved one will have a respectful and meaningful service that honours their life.

Commitment and renewal ceremonies

 

All great love stories evolve over time. As you grow together and face challenges, it’s a wonderful feeling to recognise the enduring love which sustained you through the hard years, bringing you to a new place of deeper, stronger appreciation.
